of charge.
The procedure for transferring your Domain Name Server
is simple with Antech Solutions, however if you have a different
Web Host other than Antech Solutions then please use the following
procedure.
- Contact the current registrar (your web host) to
find out how to change the DNS settings
for
your domain.
- Change the DNS settings, as follows:
- For hosting with Antech Solutions:
Primary Name Server = ns1.livedns.co.uk
Secondary Name Server = ns2.livedns.co.uk
For any other host you will need to contact the appropriate
organisation to obtain this information. With
Antech Solutions a customer can make unlimited DNS changes
to point their domain name to third part hosting companies.
This
is
a free
service.
Your Domain Name Server will take upto 24 hours for
it to change to any other DNS provider. After changing your DNS
pointing to our name servers, we will be responsible for mapping
your domain name to the physical IP address on the Internet where
your domain resides. You can be expected to get the best service
from us 24/7/365. For redundancy, in case the main server breaks
down, a secondary DNS is specified as well as the primary.
Customers wishing to move their domain name to another
domain name registrar may transfer their domains away from Antech
Solutions. We do not
charge you for transferring however hosting is charged at affordable
rates. This service costs £15 per domain, all you need to
do is change your Domain Name Servers to point to our Live Domain
Name
Servers.
Please
note: Your existing company may charge you for transferring
away from their DNS (Domain Name Servers).
We do not charge a penny whether you are transferring to our
DNS or leaving our DNS service. So the service is 100% FREE.
